1). Main Frame of TrailerHome Hydraulic Modular Trailers
Main beam, upper and lower wing beam, cross beam, longitudinal beam, connecting pin are using special thick WH60(δb=60kg/mm2) steel plate, box-shaped structure, high strength, hard to deform, good ability for concentrated Professional materials certificate of all steel can be offered.
2). The combinations and connections of modules adopts foreign general multiunit
connect-sheets connecting, high connection strength , not easy to break, convenient connection and combination, largely increase the combination speed.

b. Steering rod system was optimized by computer, less steering error.

Low bed trailer
Supply lowbed trailers for road transport of construction machines and equipment like crawler crane, excavator, crawler loader and other crawler/tire equipment. Due to drop deck design, it always comes with a gooseneck, so it is also called low bed semi trailer.
Low bed trailer has high traffic ability to go through bridge arc and tunnel, and it lowers COG(center of gravity) of cargo.
Hydraulic platform trailer could be coupled with a low bed platform to transport oversize equipment over up to 200 tons.

Features of lowbed trailers

  • Mechanical or hydraulic climbing ramp is an option for easy loading and unloading
  • Lower height (hydraulic and air suspension be able to adjust height)
  • Detachable gooseneck is an option
  • Small turning radius, up to 55° steering angle

Two ways to load and unload construction machines

  • Front loading: With detachable(removable) goose neck, when remove the neck from low bed trailer, slope design of front deck enable construction machines climb up/down freely.
  • Back loading: Equipped with fixed neck at the front and a climbing ramp at the rear of trailer, no need procedure to detach neck, just put down the mechanical/hydraulic ramp then you can load and unload equipment directly. By this means construction machines need strong ability for climb the high ramp.

100 Axle Lines SPMTs Assist 3200t Giant Bridge Section Roll on the Barge-TrailerHome

With the strong support from TrailerHome's SPMT, Guangdong LIFT Engineering Machinery Co.,Ltd(GPEC) 
was contracted by Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry to transport 3200t giant bridge section roll-on barge for
Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge project in Zhongshan, Guangdong province.
  












This giant bridge section, which total weighed 3,200 tones and had the dimensions 132.6 m x 33.1 m, were 
transported from the fabrication facility yard to the barge by using total 100-axle lines SPMTs. So, how to move
 this giant steel structure onto the barge safely and accurately? As there's over 20m distance from the bridge 
section and barge, crane is not suitable for this project. Based on the analysis of actual situation, our client 
GPEC choose the better solution of Self Propelled Modular Trailer (SPMT), which is more cost
-effective and easier to operate.




















Detail SPMT transport system configuration: 
100 axle lines TJ-S2.43 SPMT (10 units - 6 lines module, 10 units - 4 lines module) compose 4 big SPMT modules
4 PPU (390kw Mercedes Benz engine for Power Pack Unit)
1 Wireless Remote control

 










Normally it will take 5-6 hours to roll-on, but in this project, we need complete the whole process in 2 hours as the
 reason of Tidal influence. Also, high precision is essential for roll-on, deviation is controlled smaller than 5mm in 
every 100m movement. This requires everyone and every steps close-cooperation and no mistake permitted. 
  
The most difficult is, when SPMT move onto the barge, the barge will swing and tilt with the change of weight. So how 
to keep it balance? Thanks to the hydraulic steady system of Tianjie SPMT, which adopt reliable German brand main 
components and have hydraulic compensation stroke of approx. 700mm (±350mm). Hydraulic support cylinder on
 suspension is connected to each other by steel pipes and hose. One cut-off valve (ball valve) is used for grouping the 
hydraulic cylinders. Support system is set to three hydraulic groups according to cargo weight, center of gravity location
 and road conditions. This ensures a uniform axle load on rough road while running. Besides, the barge is equipped 
with pressurized cabin to outward drainage to ensure the balance.



















Through two hours efforts, TrailerHome's SPMT successfully assist the 3200t giant bridge section roll-onto the barge,
 this isthe first step of HZMB CB02 project, one historic move in Chinese Bridge Construction area. But For Tianjie, this 
is just another case with SPMT.
